Surin beach itself is lined with casuarina trees, pandanus palms and small Thai restaurants serving fresh seafood and other Thai cuisine delights. These restaurants were recently transformed into concrete shops along surin's beach front by the local government. The centre of the beach now is dedicated to picnic tables and chairs.

A good way to spend the day here is relaxing in one of the many beach chairs and finish of with a massage in the shade of a coconut palm.

Surin beach is also the location of the first golf course in Thailand built by the King of Thailand that is why on many afternoons you will see Thai golfers practicing their swings and chips.
