Dreaming history
Saltwater Dreaming was established in 2000 as a surfing Thailand information website,
primarily for people wanting to visit Thailand and have other activities to do.
Around
that time there were only a handfull of surfers in Phuket and the supply of surf
accessories and products was very limited. The surf shop opened the end of 2001
and has grown into what it is today, your local surf shop.
Today
Saltwater Dreaming supplies surf wax, surf leashes, traction pads,
T-shirts and clothing, as well as importing bodyboards, surfboards,
and many surfing accessories to supply the growing surfing population.
We also run a surf
school
and surfboard
rental service in Phuket.
All our products have been developed and tested by
real surfers who have been surfing for decades. We understand surfers needs through
experience, so now we strive to make surf gear and surfboards that are simple,
real and won't let you down.
Saltwater Dreaming also supports local surf contests
and surfers in Phuket and our ultimate aim is not big bussiness, but to persue
and share the stoke and lifestyle of surfing.
