Surfing Koh Chang Thailand Koh Chang is an island East of Bangkok, in the south China Sea. Not much is known of the surf here. This photo was sent in by Laurent from Bangkok. Looks like it has plenty of potential. You can contact him here Laurent. Thanks for the photo Laurent. Ko Chang usually works with the south west monsoon from may to september, like Phuket. Laurence says he has surfed there a couple of times in Sai Kaow Beach ( white sand beach ) on the west coast of the island, and says there are a couple of other good waves on the surrounding islands.

Another surfing pic of Koh Chang from Laurent. Taken in August 2004. Thanks Laurent!
