WELCOME TO WANDERER 13 BUNGALOWS AND SURF CHARTERS
Captain Albie Curtis, fondly known as "Captain Goodvibes" and 1st mate
&
partner "Peppie" invite you to join them along with their Indo crew
for a
unique Indonesian experience .We are based on a very special Island off
Lombok called Gili Air.
We chose this Island for the rare qualities it beholds. A small Island with
simple village life & beautiful friendly people.
So peaceful is this island there are no cars or
motorbikes only horse drawn carts & pushbikes . A short journey through the
tropical rainforest of Monkey Valley will bring you to Matram the capital of Lombok.
A new International Airport on Lombok is planned to open by June 2009 allowing
direct access to this unique Island .
Close to Bali yet still unspoilt - like

Full scuba gear is available at additional
cost. All meals and water included in charters and cooked by our Indonesian chefs
for true authentic Indonesian cooking. Other cuisine and special dietry needs
available on request.Our boat enables us to access areas not available by roads.
We have a tender to transport you from the large boat to the beach, dive and surfing
spots.
An easy 40 minute walk around Gili will reveal sandy beaches ,coral reefs ,
palm groves. crystal clear snorkelling, safe swimming and surf breaks on
outer reefs. A walk into the centre of Gili will show you local shops, village
life and the local school.
Wanderer13 Charters are about sharing the passion of surfing
& sailing with others of the same, with respect for the ocean and each other.
Both myself (Albie) and my lady (Peppie)are seasoned long
time short and longboard surfers with many years ocean experience.We encourage
courtesy and the " Unwritten Rules" of Surfing.

Our boat "Wanderer 13" is a very comfortable spacious
50 foot catamaran that sleeps 10 passengers with air conditioning, full kitchen
facilities, large fridge and freezer, flat screen T.V with DVD MP3 and surround
sound stereo. The two double front births have their own CD stereo.
The boat is equipped with radar, VHF and HF radio map
plotter and dual GPS, 240 volt generator for charging and 2000 watt inverter for
spike free charging for lap tops, cameras, phones and able to connect to all international
plugs.
The boat is equipped with all safety gear
to Australian standards including international distress beacon, Naval surgical
and medical equipment.

You can surf Gili's Islands, Senggingi, Scar reef, Supersucks,
Lakey's, Kuta, Lombok through to Desert Point, Lombongans Shipwrecks and Playgrounds
to name a few. We can sail to any of these destinations and stay for a day or
even longer if the surfs too good to move on from.
We will be visiting all the known and some unknown breaks around
Lombok , through Sumbawa & across to Sumba ( the island of the bigger waves)
The Best waves around Lombok run from the S/E end from Super-Sucks
through to Lakey's a left & right hander. At the S/W end we visit the world
renown Desert Point which is best accessed by boat. As the swell from the south
funnels upwards through the channel between Lombok & Noosa Pennida the Desert
Point wave becomes a reality with the ever increasing tidal flow creating the
legendary left hander of Deserts.
On the island of Lombongan we surf Shipwrecks, a hollow right
hander over a reef into a deeper channel, & Playgrounds for the less experienced
or for just a fun surf. This break has left and right hand waves over a flat ledge
of reef ( safe for all surfers). The incoming tide brings in the swell, this anchorage
is very calm & relaxing & Playgrounds is only a stones throw away from
the boat. This is a great spot to watch surfing for non-surfers.
