SANTA CRUZ, California/USA (Thursday, December 22, 2011) – The O’Neill Cold Water Classic Santa Cruz has been confirmed as an elite ASP World Title event for 2012. ARPOADOR, Rio de Janeiro / Brasil (Tuesday, July 26, 2011) – The opening day of the SuperSurf ASP World Masters Championships kicked off in clean two-foot (.5 metre) offshore waves at the Rio de Janeiro’s lefthand pointbreak of Arpoador. The opening day’s proceedings saw some of the sport’s most iconic names contribute timeless performances to complete Round 1 of Masters competition.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California / USA (Sunday, August 7, 2011) – Reigning 10-Time ASP World Champion Kelly Slater (Cocoa Beach, FL), 39, has won the 2011 ASP PRIME Nike US Open of Surfing for the first time since 1996, defeating Yadin Nicol (AUS), 26, in a dominant final in two-to-four foot (1 metre) waves at the iconic Huntington Beach Pier.
