COOLANGATTA, Queensland/Australia (Tuesday, December 29, 2009) – Beginning in 2010, ASP International will activate a One Ranking system for the men’s ASP Dream Tour and the ASP World Qualifying Series (WQS).

The concept of the ASP One Ranking system is to make ASP-sanctioned World Tour and Qualifying Series events contribute to a surfer’s year-end rating. PIPELINE, Oahu/Hawaii (Monday, December 8, 2009) – The Billabong Pipeline Masters, Event No. 10 of 10 on the 2009 ASP World Tour, has called a lay day today, with unruly 20-foot (7 metre) seas closing out the famed break at the Banzai Pipeline.
