COOLANGATTA, QLD, Australia – Sunday, March 2, 2014: The Quiksilver Gold Coast presented by BOQ, stop No. 1 of 11 on the 2014 Samsung Galaxy ASP World Championship Tour, was called ON today for Round 1 in three-to-four foot (1 metre) waves. Australian Josh Kerr achieved both the highest single-wave score (9.27) and the highest two-wave heat total (17.54) of the day.

With good conditions on offer today, event organizers have placed Round 2 of competition on standby for a possible start this afternoon.
