Round 1 of Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic is ON

DEE WHY, New South Whales (Wednesday, September 30, 2009) – Stop No. 3 of 7 on the 2009 ASP Women’s World Tour is underway this morning with the Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic in two-to-three foot (1 metre) conditions at Dee Why in New South Whales with sunny skies and light offshore winds. The opening day of competition will see the completion of Round 1.“We’re going to start Round 1 at 8:30am this morning,” Matt Wilson, Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic Contest Director, said. “We’ve got a sunny day with offshore winds and plenty of options for competitors out at Dee Why.
