SAN CLEMENTE, California (Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008) – Kelly Slater (USA) beat Taj Burrow (AUS) 18.97 to 18.63 to win his third Boost Mobile Pro title at Lower Trestles today. He is now as close as one event away from winning a record ninth ASP World Title.

Burrow blitzed early and with a 9.00 and 9.63 in his scoreline before the halfway mark, had Slater looking for a combination of excellent scoring waves to contend. ANGLET, Les Dunes, France (Sunday, May 11, 2008) – Harley Ingleby (Coffs Harbour, AUS) was crowned Oxbow WLT pres. by Orange Champion today in good two to three foot (0.5 to 1 meter) waves at Les Dunes, south to the main venue of Les Cavaliers, and takes the lead on the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Longboard Tour (WLT) ratings. Slater Scores his Third ASP Victory this Season at the Globe Pro Fiji

TAVARUA, Fiji (Tuesday, June 3, 2008) – Eight-time ASP World Champion Kelly Slater (USA) has won his third event on the 2008 ASP World Tour after eliminating C.J. Hobgood in the final of the Globe Pro Fiji held in six foot (two metre) waves at Cloudbreak. Slater remains the only member of the ASP Top 45 to win an event this year – the last ASP World Tour event held in Tahiti was won by a wildcard.
