The final day of Cobra D\u2019\u00c1gua Bodyboarding Show Bahia 2009 took place in better conditions than yesterday, but the wind and rain made life difficult for the riders. The waves were bigger than yesterday (3-4 ft) and the crowd filled Arma\u00e7\u00e3o Beach.<\/p>\n
Guilherme T\u00e2mega and Eunate Aguirre won the event and now both are leading the IBA World Ranking. Guilherme defeated Eder Luciano from Brazil while Eunate defeated Mayllae Venturin.<\/p>\n

Perfect conditions on Estaleirinhos Beach today. Good waves with 4-6 ft and no wind, the beach was crowd and the bodyboarders got a huge show to everybody here.The day started with the Men’s quarter finals and the heats were amazing. Uri Valad\u00e3o and Eder Luciano had a great fight on water and in the end Eder found a good wave to turn on the heat and make it into semifinal.<\/p>\n
After the girls surfed the semifinals to decide the finalists on event. In first semi Eunate defeated J\u00e9ssica Bekcer and in second Neymara Carvalho lost to Maylla Venturin.<\/p>\n
In the mens semifinals Guilherme won against Fabio Rodrigues and Eder Luciano had a great performance to beat Luis Villar.<\/p>\n
Eunate and Maylla made the final on Arma\u00e7\u00e3o Beach. Eunate, the new leader of IBA World Circuit, got two good waves and Maylla didn\u2019t found a second wave. \u201cI\u2019m so happy, it\u2019s impossible describe what I\u2019m feeling right now. I know that there are more events but now I want celebrate my victory\u201d, said Eunate<\/p>\n
The last heat of event was the most incredible. Guilherme T\u00e2mega had announced his retirement a couple of weeks ago got a 10 after a perfect barrel in difficult conditions. Also, T\u00e2mema made the highest score on event, 16.50, and was crowned the great champion.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is incredible to win in my country. Definitely I won\u2019t stop, I\u2019ll go to Arica. I\u2019m so happy to win here, this is a great day. When I saw that wave I knew that something good was happening\u201d, said the current #1<\/p>\n
Now the next stage on IBA World Tour will be in Arica, Chile. The best riders will compete the second Grand Slam of the year.<\/p>\n

Neymara Carvalho was crownd champion after beat your friend Eunate Aguirre. “I’m so happy to win in my country. Now I’m leading the world tour and i hop to repeat this title in Bahia event”, said Neymara<\/p>\n
On mens final Lucas Nogueira won his first contest on IBA world tour after a great heat with the 9X world champion Mike Stewart. “This is the best day of my life. I beat a guy that is a God and I’m so happy to win in this place. I’m so focus and I’ll go to Bahia confident to do another good result”, said Lucas<\/p>\n
The World tour goes to Bahia now when between April 28th and May 3rd the best riders of the world will compete in Cobra D’\u00e1gua Bodyboarding Show Bahia 2009.<\/p>\n
