Ventura Hosts Second Stop on North American ASP LQS Series

Ventura, California (Monday, April 20, 2009) – The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Longboard Qualifying Series (LQS) is set to host the second of five ASP LQS 1-Star events in North America this weekend with the men’s PLA and women’s Gidget PLA Pro events from April 25-26, 2009 at Ventura Pier.

The ASP LQS acts as a gateway for the ASP World Longboard Tour (WLT) with each region sending its top two finishers to the ASP WLT in an attempt to earn an ASP World Longboarding Title the following year.
