Honolua Bay, Hawaii, USA
BILLABONG PRO MAUI (8 December 20 December)

Live on www.aspworldtour.com and www.billabongpro.com
Your 2005 Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Womens World Champion, as well as the winner of the Billabong Pro Maui, will be crowned this afternoon.
An almost full moon setting over Honolua lit up the perfect four to six foot waves making their way into the Bay this morning. Contest director Mike Parsons has made an 8am call for competition. The final will run around roughly 4pm today, though the World Title could be decided prior to that.[/i]If current world champion Sofia Mulanovich (PER) bows out before the final, Chelsea Georgeson (AUS) will win her maiden title in Maui. If Georgeson bows out early and Mulanovich can make the final today, the young Peruvian could continue her reign.
