Adán Hernández el monta olas de Quiksilver, con un surf muy espectacular venció al local José Manuel “yuco” Trujillo del mismo equipo, escribiendo la historia de este primer evento, demostrando que está en su momento.
El tercero y cuarto lugar correspondió a Raúl Medina y José Manuel Jiménez, logrando llegar a estos lugares después de librar una batalla realmente fuerte, ya que en su mayoría los grupos eran de finales, ya que son atletas de alto rendimiento de los que asistieron a este primer evento del circuito, como el Costa Rícense Jasón Torres que creó una gran expectativa, sino vean la calidad de los 20 primeros lugares
Liberación de tortugas por el campamento tortuguero de playa Hermosa y la fiesta de la feria de la colonia Bonfil fueron otras de las actividades
