Bragging rights are on the line as REEF faces off against Lost,
Analog, and defending champions, Biillabong, for the prestigious
2009 Transworld Surf “CALI RALLY.” Consisting of 10 days of
surfing and shenanigans up and down the West Coast from San Diego
to Santa Cruz, the event will kick of July 6th -15th. REEF’S
Global Athlete Manager, Heath “Nutty” Walker has had his work cut
out for him to hand pick his elite4-man team, but without further
ado, here is the line-up.
Heading the Rally will be REEF’s Global Athlete Coordinator Amy
“All In” Delee as team manager. Delee states, ” We have a tough
job ahead of us as the competition is crazy with the other teams.
If you see the caliber on the REEF team I am super confident we
can win quite convincingly. Actually, we will smoke’
em…(haha).”Oceanside’s Chris ” El Capitan” Abad will lead the 4-man team
alongside Australia’s Paul “Keep Ya Pants On” Fisher, Hawaii’s
Sean “Give Me a Bud” Moody and Ventura’s Nick “Not All There Yet”
Rozsa.
To document the mayhem, REEF staff photographer Chris ” Little
Hippo” Straley will be behind the lens while Brett ” Crazy”
Carraso will catch it all on film.
