Chada Thai Village
Chada Thai Village is the current name to use for the old Krabi Thai Village Resort / Thai Village Resort listing. It is in the Ao Nang area and suits travellers who want a larger resort-style stay with gardens and pools.
This is a good option if you want resort comfort but still want to stay near Ao Nang rather than heading out to the quieter Klong Muang or Tubkaek areas.

Ao Nang Villa Resort
Ao Nang Villa Resort is a beachfront resort in one of the most convenient parts of Ao Nang. It is a good one to check if you want comfort, beach access and easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and longtail boats.
This is not the quietest part of Krabi, but it is very handy. Sometimes convenience wins, even if it is not very romantic to admit it.

Railay Bay Resort & Spa
Railay Bay Resort & Spa is one of the main higher-end options on Railay. It is a good choice if you want to stay on the Railay peninsula, with limestone cliffs, beach access and boat-only arrival all part of the deal.
Railay is different from staying in Ao Nang. You get better scenery and a more enclosed beach atmosphere, but you also need to be comfortable arriving by boat.

Nakamanda Resort & Spa
Nakamanda Resort & Spa is a higher-end resort around Klong Muang, away from the busier Ao Nang area. It is a good one to check if you want a quieter, more relaxed Krabi stay.
Klong Muang is better for peace and space than nightlife. If your plan is beach, pool, dinner and not doing too much, that is probably a feature rather than a problem.

Anyavee Tubkaek Beach Resort
Anyavee Tubkaek Beach Resort is on Tubkaek Beach, one of Krabi’s quieter and more scenic beach areas. It is worth moving to the high-range page rather than leaving it mixed in with the mid-range Ao Nang hotels.
Tubkaek is a good choice if you want views, calm water, sunsets and a slower pace. It is not the place to stay if you want to wander around Ao Nang every night.

Amari Vogue Krabi
Amari Vogue Krabi is a luxury beachfront resort on Tubkaek Beach. It suits travellers who want a quieter, more polished Krabi stay away from the busier Ao Nang strip.
This is a good one for couples, families or anyone who wants a peaceful beach resort with proper comfort and a very different feel from staying in town.

Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf and Spa Resort
Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf and Spa Resort is the current name to use for the old Sofitel Phokeethra Krabi Resort & Spa listing. It is in the Klong Muang area and is one of Krabi’s better-known luxury resorts.
This is a strong choice if you want a larger resort with big facilities, quieter surroundings and easier access to the Klong Muang / Tubkaek side of Krabi.

Centara Reserve Krabi
Centara Reserve Krabi is the current name to use for the old Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas listing. It is tucked away at Pai Plong Bay, between Ao Nang and Railay, with boat access and a more secluded beachfront feel.
This is a good option if you want a high-end beach resort close to Ao Nang, but not right in the middle of the main tourist strip. Check transfer details before booking, as access is part of the experience.

Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve
Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is one of Krabi’s top luxury resorts, set around the quieter Klong Muang / Tubkaek side of the province.
This is the serious luxury end of the page. It suits travellers who want privacy, service, sea views and the full resort experience rather than a central Ao Nang stay.

Rayavadee
Rayavadee is one of Krabi’s best-known luxury resorts, set on the Phra Nang peninsula near Railay. It is surrounded by limestone cliffs, beaches and some of the most dramatic scenery in southern Thailand.
This is the top-end Railay / Phra Nang choice. It is not a casual budget stay, unless your budget has been behaving very strangely lately.
