Apsara Beachfront Resort & Villa is the current name to use for the old Apsaras Beach Resort & Spa listing. It is around the Pakarang / Khuk Khak area, north of the busier Khao Lak centre.
This is a good option if you want a quieter beachfront resort, with more space and less of the town-centre feel. It suits travellers who want beach, pool and relaxation rather than being out every night.

JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa
JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa is one of the major higher-end resorts in Khao Lak, set around Khuk Khak Beach. It is a strong choice if you want a large beachfront resort with proper facilities.

This is a proper high-end resort choice for couples or travellers who want a quieter, more polished Khao Lak stay. Not exactly a cheap beach hut, unless your beach hut has room service and a wine list.

I have left out the old Andaman Princess Resort & Spa and Bor Saen Villa & Spa listings from this high-range page. Andaman Princess had a weaker old score and an outdated image link, while Bor Saen is more of a wider Phang Nga villa property than a strong Khao Lak beach resort choice.
