Karon Beach Hotels & Resorts
Karon Beach is one of Phuket's longer west coast beaches, sitting between Patong and Kata. It has a wide beach, plenty of hotels and restaurants, and a bit more space than Patong. It is still a busy tourist area, but it usually feels less frantic than staying right in the middle of Patong, which is not exactly hard to achieve.
