Mid-Range Patong Hotels and Resorts
This is the second Patong hotel page, focused on mid-range hotels and resorts. These are the places that sit somewhere between the cheaper guesthouse-style rooms and the larger, higher-end resorts. Patong has plenty of them, because Patong has plenty of everything, including noise, traffic and people who thought one more bucket was a sensible idea.

The old version of this page was sorted by fixed US dollar prices, but that is not very useful now. Hotel prices in Phuket change too much by season, demand and whatever the booking sites are doing that week. It is better to treat this as a mid-range Patong guide and use Agoda to check the current rates.
I have removed the old prices, review counts and rating numbers because they date too quickly. Use the Agoda links to check current room prices, photos and availability before booking.

Mid-Range Hotels in Patong
Tony Resort
(central Patong area)
Tony Resort is a long-running central Patong hotel, useful if you want to stay close to the main beach, shopping and nightlife areas without going into the larger resort price range. It is a practical choice for travellers who want Patong convenience first and a quiet retreat second.
The location makes it easy to get around on foot, but central Patong is not exactly a meditation retreat. Check recent photos and room details on Agoda before booking, especially if you are a light sleeper or travelling with family.
Location: Patong Beach, Phuket
Aspery Hotel
(north-central Patong, close to beach area)
Aspery Hotel is a handy mid-range Patong choice, close enough to the beach and town to be useful without feeling quite as large as the bigger resort hotels. It suits travellers who want a modern, practical base in Patong and do not need a beachfront resort.
This part of Patong can work well if you want beach time, restaurants and nightlife within reach, but still prefer being slightly away from the busiest central blocks. Check the current room types and building location before booking, as some hotels around Patong have more than one section.
Location: Patong Beach, Phuket
The Yorkshire Hotel and Spa
(central Patong, near Jungceylon and nightlife)
The Yorkshire Hotel and Spa is right in the central Patong area, close to shopping, restaurants and the nightlife side of town. It is a good one to check if you want to be in the middle of things and do not want a quiet beach escape.
This location is convenient, but central Patong is central Patong. It suits people who want to walk everywhere and be close to the action. If you want early nights and soft birdsong, this may not be your spiritual home.
Location: Patong Beach, Phuket
Rayaburi Hotel Patong
(close to Patong Beach)
Rayaburi Hotel Patong is a useful mid-range choice if you want to stay close to the beach and still be within walking distance of the central Patong area. It is more of a practical hotel base than a big resort stay.
The location is the main draw here. If you want to walk to the beach, restaurants and nightlife without much planning, this part of Patong can work well. Check current room photos and recent guest comments before booking, especially if noise matters to you.
Location: Patong Beach, Phuket
Nipa Resort
(north-central Patong area)
Nipa Resort is a mid-range resort-style hotel in Patong, with more facilities than the small guesthouses but still not in the large luxury resort category. It can suit travellers who want pools, a bit more space and a location that still keeps Patong within reach.
This area can be a reasonable compromise if you want Patong convenience but prefer not to be right on the loudest streets. Check the walking distance to the beach and the current room options before booking.
Location: Patong Beach, Phuket
Ibis Phuket Patong Hotel
(north Patong, known-brand budget/mid-range hotel)
Ibis Phuket Patong Hotel is a known-brand option in north Patong. It is a practical choice if you want a simple, predictable hotel rather than a smaller local guesthouse or a large resort.
The location can suit travellers who want to be close to Patong Beach without staying right beside Bangla Road. It is often a good fit for people who value a straightforward room, easy booking and fewer surprises. In Patong, fewer surprises can be underrated.
Location: North Patong, Phuket
Phuvaree Resort
(south Patong, set back from the beach)
Phuvaree Resort is set back from the main beach area on the southern side of Patong. It can suit travellers who want a larger room or resort-style stay but do not need to be right on the beach road.
The trade-off is distance. You may get better value and a quieter base, but you will likely use transport more often. Check the map carefully before booking so you know whether the location suits your plans.
Location: South Patong, Phuket
The Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa
(central Patong landmark hotel)
The Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa is one of Patong’s long-running landmark hotels. It is large, central and close to restaurants, shopping and nightlife, so it suits travellers who want to be in the middle of Patong rather than tucked away somewhere quiet.
This is a convenient location, but central Patong can be busy and loud. For some people, that is exactly why they are booking it. For others, it is a reminder that Kata exists. Check the current room type and location within the hotel before booking.
Location: Central Patong, Phuket
Baan Boa Resort
(south Patong beachfront road)
Baan Boa Resort is on the southern end of Patong’s beach road, which can be a handy location if you want to stay close to the beach but slightly away from the main central nightlife. It is a practical mid-range option with a good position for beach access.
The south end of Patong often feels a little less hectic than the centre, while still being close enough to walk or take a short ride into the busiest area. Check current photos and room details before booking.
Location: South Patong Beach, Phuket
Hyton Leelavadee Hotel
(south Patong area)
Hyton Leelavadee Hotel is a south Patong hotel that can suit travellers who want a quieter base than the very centre, while still keeping the beach and restaurants within reach. It is more resort-style than the smaller guesthouses but still sits in the mid-range category.
South Patong can be a good compromise if you want access without the full central Patong noise. Check the latest hotel status, room photos and location before booking, as this part of town has a mix of older and newer properties.
Location: South Patong, Phuket
The Royal Palm Beachfront Hotel
(Patong beachfront road)
The Royal Palm Beachfront Hotel is on Patong’s beach road, making it a useful option if you want to stay close to the sand and central Patong. The location is the main reason to look at this one.
Beachfront road hotels in Patong are convenient, but they can also be busy. If you want easy access to the beach, restaurants and nightlife, it can work well. If you want quiet, look further north, south or up the hill.
Location: Patong Beach Road, Phuket

Location: Patong Beach, Phuket
Patong Paragon Resort & Spa
(north Patong beachfront area)
Patong Paragon Resort & Spa is toward the northern end of Patong Beach. It is a larger resort-style option and can suit travellers who want more space and facilities while staying slightly away from the busiest central Patong blocks.

Location: North Patong, Phuket
La Vintage Resort
(central Patong, tucked off the main road)
La Vintage Resort is a central Patong hotel tucked off the main road, which can make it useful if you want to be near the action without staying directly on the busiest strip. It is a practical mid-range option for walking around Patong.
The location is handy for restaurants, shopping, nightlife and the beach. As with any central Patong hotel, check recent reviews if noise is a concern. Patong has a talent for following you back to the room if you choose badly.
Location: Patong Beach, Phuket
Patong Resort
(central Patong resort)
Patong Resort is a large, central Patong hotel with easy access to the beach, shopping and nightlife. It is a practical choice if you want a bigger hotel setup and do not want to spend too much time travelling around Patong.
This is a good one to compare if location is more important than peace and quiet. Central Patong is convenient, but it comes with crowds and noise. Check the current room types, as large hotels often have different wings and views.
Location: Central Patong, Phuket
Tri Trang Beach Resort
(Tri Trang area, south of Patong)
Tri Trang Beach Resort is outside the main Patong strip, around the Tri Trang area south of Patong. It suits travellers who want to be near Patong but prefer a quieter beach-side area and do not mind using transport.
This is quite a different stay from central Patong. It can be calmer and more scenic, but it is less convenient if you want to walk everywhere. Check current hotel details, beach access and transport options before booking.
Location: Tri Trang / south of Patong, Phuket
Tropica Bungalow Hotel
(central Patong beachfront road)
Tropica Bungalow Hotel is on Patong’s beach road, close to the central nightlife area. It is a good one to look at if you want to be right in the middle of Patong and do not mind the busy location.
This is a convenient but lively part of town. If your plan is beach, bars, food and walking everywhere, it can work. If your plan is peaceful sleep and early yoga, Patong may have other ideas.
Location: Patong Beach Road, Phuket
Sunset Beach Resort
(north Patong / Kalim side)
Sunset Beach Resort is around the north Patong and Kalim side, away from the loudest central part of Patong. It can suit travellers who want to be near Patong but prefer a slightly quieter base by the sea.
Kalim and north Patong can be useful if you want more space and less noise, but you may use transport more often. Check the beach access and walking distance before booking, as this area is not the same as central Patong Beach.
Location: North Patong / Kalim, Phuket
Baan Laimai Beach Resort
(central Patong beach road)
Baan Laimai Beach Resort is a large, well-known hotel on Patong’s beach road. It is one of the stronger choices if you want to be close to the beach, restaurants and nightlife, with resort-style facilities and a big central location.
This is not a quiet hideaway, but it is very convenient. If you want the full Patong experience and a hotel that puts you close to everything, it is worth comparing. If you want peace, look further north, south or maybe another beach entirely.
Location: Patong Beach Road, Phuket
Andaman Beach Suites Hotel
(north-central Patong high-rise hotel)
Andaman Beach Suites Hotel is a larger high-rise hotel in the north-central Patong area. It can be useful if you want more facilities and views, while still staying within reach of Patong Beach and the main town area.
This is a better fit for travellers who want a proper hotel setup rather than a small guesthouse. Check the room category and view before booking, as larger hotels can vary quite a bit between standard rooms and better room types.
Location: Patong Beach, Phuket
This second Patong page is the middle ground: more comfortable than the cheapest guesthouses, but not quite the larger higher-end resort list. For cheaper rooms, go back to the budget Patong page. For the bigger resorts and more expensive stays, use the next Patong page.
Patong is easy because everything is close. It is also Patong because everything is close. Check the exact hotel location before booking, especially if you want quiet nights, beach access, or a fast walk to the nightlife without needing a tuk-tuk negotiation every evening.
