Patong is Phuket's busiest beach area. It has the most hotels, the most nightlife, the most restaurants, the most shopping and, depending on your mood, possibly the most reasons to stay somewhere else. Still, if you want everything close by and do not mind the noise, Patong can be a very convenient base.
This is the first of three Patong hotel pages. The old version was sorted by fixed US dollar price ranges, but hotel prices move around too much now for that to be useful. I would treat this page as the budget and value Patong hotel list, then use the other two pages for mid-range hotels and larger resorts.
